Fire breaks out after container ship and oil tanker collide 10 miles off Withernsea

An oil tanker has collided with a cargo ship in the North Sea, the coastguard has said. Lifeboats and a coastguard helicopter were called to the collision in the Humber Estuary on Monday morning, believed to involve a US-flagged tanker called the MV Stena Immaculate. #oiltanker #humber

00:11Lifeboats and a Coast Guard helicopter were called to collision in the Humber Estuary on Monday morning,

00:23The American tanker was at anchor, according to the ship tracking tool Vessel Finder.

00:29HM Coast Guard is currently coordinating the emergency response to reports of the collision between the tanker and cargo vessel.

00:36The Coast Guard Rescue Helicopter from Humberside was called for,

00:39alongside lifeboats from Skegness, Bridlington, Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes,

00:43and HM Coast Guard fixed-wing aircraft and nearby vessels with firefighting capability.
