On Sunday, Honduras holds primary elections to choose the next candidates for the presidency, regional and municipal governments, and members of parliament.

00:06regional and municipal governments, and members of parliament.
00:10Since early morning, Hondurans have attended to over 5,000 voting centers set up throughout
00:16the national territory to exercise their right to vote.
00:19In this regard, the National Electoral Council assured the transparency of the electoral
00:23process and defended the new technological measures that will warranty the citizens'
00:28vote.
00:29Since the opening of the voting centers, more than 5.8 million Hondurans are called to vote
00:34for the candidates of the political organizations, including the Free Party, the Liberal Party
00:39and the National Party.
00:48I can confirm that this National Electoral Council is delivering an election with all
00:56the conditions to be remembered as the most transparent and faithful to the people's will
