A crocodile, believed to be the same one previously spotted near Masjid Jamek and Mid Valley, has reportedly been seen in Klang River near the Malayan Mansion building in Masjid India.

Kuala Lumpur Civil Defence Force (APM) officer Mej Ahmad Junaidi Dukut Soerharto confirmed that two teams were deployed after receiving a public report at 10:19 PM on Saturday.

00:22The effort to trap the reptile began at 11pm with the assistance of the police and the
00:26Department of Wildlife Protection, Per Hillerton.
00:30However, the crocodile was no longer visible.
00:34Authorities said that capturing the crocodile could take time due to strong river currents
00:38and recent heavy rain, which pose risks to the rescue teams.
00:43The public is urged to stay away from the area and report any sightings to the authorities
00:47immediately.
00:49Previously, the crocodile, estimated to weigh nearly 500kg, was seen near Masjid Jamek on
00:55January 25 and later near the Gardens Mid Valley and KL Eco City on February 20.
