00:00So we've got something to like actually we can start this interview very nicely

00:03we both went to QE2 you've done a lot more from than me in the sporting world

00:06I will say but you're here tonight for a massive massive award

00:09Yasmin tell us what it means to pick up yet another Sportswoman of the Year

00:12Oh it's an incredible honour to be awarded with Sportswoman of the Year

00:16I feel so proud to come from the Isle of Man and it's huge amount of talent so I

00:22feel very honoured to to be receiving this alongside so many incredible

00:27athletes this evening. Your mantelpiece must be getting quite full surely now

00:31but to see all the crowd here tonight and to I think this event's pretty

00:36unique in the fact that there's a load of Isle of Man people in the crowd that

00:39know how much it means for you to be in the Olympics not necessarily ride but to

00:43be involved in that does do you always carry the sense of three legs a man on

00:47your back almost? Absolutely I always say you can hear them before you see them so

00:51that is so important to me to know that I've got the backing of all my family

00:55and friends and everybody that is from the Isle of Man it's super important and

00:59it's such an amazing feeling to have everyone here tonight as well to

01:05celebrate such amazing success from the Isle of Man sports people. And just

01:09before I let you shoot off can you tell us what the future looks like for you?

01:12The long-term goal now is looking towards LA Olympics in a couple of years

01:17time so we'll be working really hard towards that but in the immediate future

01:21over the next few months I'm looking at doing and competing at my very first

01:25badminton International Horse Trials which is at five star level top of the

01:29sport I've never competed there before so yeah I'm absolutely super excited to

01:34be hopefully aiming for that and then the European Championships which are in

01:38September and at Blenheim Palace in Great Britain so that's the that's the

01:43plans for the next few months. Well a lot to look forward to best of luck and
