00:07Eric Mabius who was the lead was ugly Betty's love interest on the show yeah

00:15that's how his night went after he was in a Florida bar with his girlfriend

00:42fight that landed Eric Mabius in jail and it all started when they're at this

00:47bar and his girlfriend ends up spitting on another patron the guy in the white

00:53hat you're gonna see this all play out here but they apparently had been asked

00:58to leave the establishment and then she gets into it with this guy and poor

01:04Eric Mabius you'll notice is on crutches and he's trying to break up the fight

01:10kind of right kind of although the police didn't see it that way because he

01:15was arrested for battery and you can see in the fight there he was using his

01:21phone to hit the girl who was attacking his girlfriend can I just stop you I

01:25know you're in the middle of this uh-huh but if they arrested crutches I know but

01:29if they arrested him why wouldn't they arrest her his girlfriend they both were

01:35arrested at least that's justice yeah so Charles we don't we don't know if it's

01:39his girlfriend it seems to be his girlfriend or someone that he was with

01:42at the female friend at the very least yes but I mean rule number one is you

01:46never get in between two women fighting oh are we doing my club now rule number

01:50one that was a terrible idea the other one puts down her purse all right it's

01:54according to Devin this woman had to be arrested as well no well the woman he

01:59was with was arrested and then he was arrested no one else at the bar

02:03according to the police report were arrested that person that woman actually

02:08was listed as the victim in all this and she had said at least that's what she

02:12told cops that he allegedly had pulled her hair while they're on the ground and

02:16like had ripped her hair out so obviously cops were called they were

02:21both arrested for wait wait wait wait wait wait wait so the woman who in the

02:27black hair was listed as the victim wasn't she the one that threw the first

02:31punch exactly because what happens here we'll break it down see she goes in the

02:36gray sweater black hair she's throwing punches Eric comes in with his phone

02:41trying to break it up hits her a couple times while on the ground started the

02:44fight apparently but apparently the girl Eric was with spit on them so don't you

02:50always say that if you spit on someone that's technically no I know but but

02:54Derek but but Devin he's she spit on the guy her right according to the police

03:01report they they basically told cops that she spit on multiple people so

03:05maybe you just can't see it in the video or maybe they lied I don't know what

03:09what's going on but it was a bad situation but she does the other woman

03:12does react immediately like but it didn't seem like there's no way she spit

03:17on both of them yeah it's like she started you can't your spit isn't like

03:22shotgun spray it doesn't she started the oh and yeah you see him yeah you see him

03:28beating her yeah what was this when they were asked to leave the bar was alcohol

03:33involved never the bartender said that they were both very intoxicated and they

03:40were asked to leave multiple times and it appears like that guy that was

03:43sitting at the bar must have said something to her and that's why she spit

03:50Tampa Florida I live about three hours from Jacksonville where this altercation

03:54took place not one part of me is shocked that it happened in the state of Florida

03:58oh my god it happened in Florida imagine yeah a bar fight could break out like

04:03this any day of the week bystanders are either gonna a ignore it and act like

04:06it's not happening directly in front of them or just jump in all at once there's

04:09no in between um and this case looks like Eric was attempting to stop said

04:13fight in the moment but unfortunately got hit with that unlucky outcome at

04:17the end of the night yeah I would advise him to keep those crutches for court
