00:00It was official that Secretary Cesar Chavez, as the secretary of the Presidential Communications Office,

00:14It was official that Secretary Cesar Chavez, as the secretary of the Presidential Communications Office,

00:21is in the center of the news.

00:22He submitted his irrevocable resignation on February 5, which is effective at the end of the month.

00:29In his resignation, it is one of his greatest regrets that he was not able to fulfill his expectations.

00:37As a former mayor, Chavez insisted that he must make public the real reason for his resignation.

00:44He insisted that since he served in the administration, he has always served in the best way possible.

00:52And now, he will leave with pride, gratitude, and hope for a brighter future for the country.

00:59However, it remains that Chavez is supportive of the current administration

01:04as well as his continuation in public service.

01:07He also thanked the President for the opportunity to serve,

01:10which is an honor for him because of the trust given by the executive branch.

01:15Although Malacañang has not confirmed yet,

01:17Chavez has already talked to the veteran journalist, J. Ruiz,

01:21and he said that he will be introduced to PCO Mancom on Monday

01:25as the start of the transition in his appointment as the secretary of the PCO.

01:30Chavez will be remembered as the acting secretary of the PCO last September.

01:36He also served as the Undersecretary for Railways of the Transportation Department

01:40under the Marcos Jr. Administration.
