Can USA Hockey Beat Canada Again? I BMitch & Finlay

JP and BMitch ask Neil Greenberg his thoughts on the upcoming 4 Nations final between Team USA and Team Canada.

00:00Generally, when I'm asking you about hockey, it is about the Caps specifically.

00:04But this Four Nations thing, I knocked it because I just wanted to watch Caps hockey

00:08when the Super Bowl ended, and it has completely sucked me in.

00:12It is awesome to watch.

00:15A lot of it, a lot of it was just the way the U.S.-Canada game started the other night

00:19with all the fights.

00:20I love it.

00:21We get that U.S.-Canada game tomorrow night.

00:24What are you expecting?

00:25What are you, I don't even know what the lines are, like who's favorite, any of it.

00:31USA, I think, is a slight favorite.

00:37I am expecting a high-scoring game because I think these teams want to embarrass the

00:43other one.

00:44I don't think they just want to win.

00:46I think, obviously, it's very personal.

00:48They want to, they want to drop them out of the building.

00:54So I'm expecting some fireworks, goal-scoring, maybe not so much as the fighting.

00:59You know, there's some injury concerns.

01:02I mean, Canada is just so good in these tournaments.

01:05I want to say, like, Crosby's won 20-something straight games in these type of tournaments.

01:13You know, they have, obviously, just a stellar group on both sides.

01:18But I do like U.S. They are able to get in the high-danger areas.

01:25They are able to get into the slots.

01:28And they also, they're physical.

01:29And that does take a toll.

01:32So I am backing USA in this one.

01:35All right.

01:36Go Americans.

01:37I think you should have just thought about it when you had the four nations.

01:40I don't care what nations it were.

01:43When you finally get to competition, that pride comes out.

01:46Yeah.

01:48And I think this doesn't get much bigger than USA, Canada, and this type of thing.

01:56So yeah.

01:57And I think it's great that people are getting drawn in, much like they did when Oshie had

02:01the 70 shootout goals in a row during the Olympics.

02:08That was what everyone was talking about.

02:11I think that these type of moments are what get people at least interested in hockey.

02:15And then maybe they see the product and they get a little more interested.
