00:00It is now possible to give a go-signal in April for the commercial vaccination against African Swine Fever.

00:06According to Agriculture Spokesperson Assistant Secretary Arnel de Mesa,

00:10Secretary Francisco Chu Laurel Jr.'s target is to approve the Evac vaccine in Vietnam in April.

00:17The nationwide rollout of the FDA and Bureau of Animal Industry will also be closely monitored.

00:24Aside from the commercial vaccination, the recovery of the local hog industry has been accelerated due to the effect of the ASF.

00:32Currently, the DA is implementing a government-controlled vaccination in some areas

00:37along with the border control measures.

00:41Because of this, from more than 500 in October, only 68 barangays have been affected.
