00:00At the Arena Grand Paris, the Congolese diaspora experience a powerful moment.

00:07After a 14-year absence, Werasun, a legend of Congolese music, makes his grand return to Europe.

00:15It is a source of pride for us that he is back in France. It is an honor.

00:22I've been following him since 1989. I remember those days when I lived in Congo-Brazzaville.

00:28He has always been the artist I supported.

00:33The concert takes place in a challenging context. In Eastern DRC, war rages on.

00:3920% of the concert proceeds will be donated to the victims.

00:44I believe this concert is a chance to rally for Congo.

00:47We are all Congolese and we should all feel involved.

00:52Werasun received the message loud and clear.

00:55The king of the forest entered with a flag in hand.

01:01Elected peace ambassador in 2001, he opened the concert with a call for unity.

01:08I urge everyone to stand together to support our country, the DRC, which is facing difficulties.

01:20Werasun performs his classic for nearly three hours.

01:24He is joined by members of his legendary former group, Wenge Muzika Mezon Mer.

01:55The singer filled the venue with over 7,000 tickets sold.
