00:00How aware are you of what you need to achieve this week, or is it that you just don't want that to...

00:06Yeah, obviously I know what needs to be done, but at the same time not really paying any attention to it.

00:12I'm on a bit of a mission this week to do something a bit different, and that's just do my own thing and not pay any attention to it.

00:20I felt like, if I'm totally honest, that's what's gotten in the way this season, is trying a bit too hard to force a result.

00:27With the points breakdown being so top-heavy, you need those big weeks.

00:34When you get yourself in contention, it's difficult not to think about it.

00:39So just doing my own thing, that's the challenge for me tomorrow.

00:44As you've said, you've got the family with you this week.

00:46It must be huge to be able to switch off from the golf to then focus on them.

00:51Yeah, absolutely, and what a great place for them to come.

00:53The little guy's loving it. He's been on the beach, he was out here watching me hit a few putts the other day.

00:59It is cool. It's busy, there's a lot going on, and it's not as easy as just getting out of the house when you need to.

01:06But it's awesome to have them here this week and share this experience with them.

01:11You've said in the past to break that barrier and get to the DP World Tour, and you've always been between the two.

01:18To solidly get there, is that at the back of your mind as well?

01:23Yeah, I was waiting to see how you were going to phrase that.

01:25I've been on the fringes for a while, and I think it's all frustrating,

01:33but at the same time, I think it will put me in good stead when I do break through to that next leap up.

01:39It's not far away, really. There's so many of us trying to get through this.

01:45For me as well, it's a little bit of an advantage, I think, having a little bit of experience playing some events,

01:53not coming cold turkey through Challenge Tour, and you don't know what to expect.

01:58There's pros and cons to it all. Kit reminded me that I've been a pro 15 years, which is quite a scary thought,

02:04how fast time is just flying by. But obviously, I can't wait to kick on and get out there.
