A$AP Rocky's trial is winding down ... but, tension between Rocky's team and prosecutors keeps heating up -- 'cause in the middle of closing arguments, A$AP's lawyer and the state engaged in a war of words.

00:00Wow, there were fireworks just a few minutes ago in the closing arguments in the ASAP Rocky

00:08trial.

00:09I mean, let me put it this way, the lawyer for ASAP, Joe Takapina, takes his coat off.

00:17He is so hot.

00:18He is heated, and this all started during Joe Takapina's closing argument.

00:27What we've gathered at this point is that he made some reference to ASAP Relly, who

00:31is the alleged victim here, the guy that Rocky is accused of shooting a gun at.

00:37And the prosecutor's star witness, who had problems on the stand.

00:40And had problems on the stand, and Joe openly said during his closing argument that Relly

00:45had committed perjury, and that the prosecution accepted that.

00:49And the prosecutor objected vehemently, and the judge said, nope, Takapina's allowed to

00:56say that.

00:57That was yesterday.

00:58Today it came up again.

01:00Yeah, and now this is what the explosion that happens in court as both Joe Takapina and

01:08the prosecutor are yelling at each other.

01:10The judge is in the middle of it.

01:12It is chaos.

01:13That's a method.

01:14And this is a guy who the Ninth Circuit just said lied to a jury in the Brantford case.

01:53that prosecutor was prosecuting Robert Durst and said that he had lied, the prosecutor

01:59had lied during that trial and it just set the prosecutor off.

02:06It is, that is crazy.

02:08So the thing that, nothing will tee off an attorney more than being called for character

02:13violations or quorum to quorum violations or codes of conduct violations by another

02:18attorney.

02:19It's very rarely done, right?

02:20There's always this thing that you'll fight hard for your clients, but don't make it personal

02:24with the other lawyer.

02:25Here, these two guys clearly don't like each other.

02:28And that came out and man alive, you just don't see that very often.

02:31The screaming, the back and forth, the judge standing up at the, at the bench, the judge

02:35is like, I don't know what the judge is shaking his head like, wow, I don't know.

02:39This judge has been around for a long time.

02:42Very, very experienced judge.

02:43I wonder how many times he's seen this kind of vitriol in court.

02:47Well, I mean the fact that the judge is standing, right?

02:50I mean, you just don't see I'm waiting for someone to yell, you're out of order, out

02:57of order.

02:58I mean, okay.

02:59So it looks like this case is going to the jury, um, on, uh, it couldn't go as early

03:05as Monday, by the way.

03:38away from his kids.

03:39And by the way, Rihanna and her kids were in court for closing.

03:43So, um, we will see what kind of an impact that has on the judge.

03:46But again, Takapina is going to be here on Monday.

03:49So this should be fascinating.

03:50We'll get some answers about the clearly bad blood between himself and the prosecutor.
