Lawyers Say A$Ap Rocky Trial is Now Being Pushed Due to Benefit Concert Performance

00:00A judge has postponed A$AP Rocky's trial regarding a 2021 incident with his former

00:04friend A$AP Relly. The new trial date is set for January 21st of 2025. Rocky's lawyer stated

00:09quote things removed due to a scheduling conflict with a benefit concert in Bangkok and ongoing

00:14discovery issues. Rocky pleaded not guilty earlier this year to allegations of firing a gun at Relly

00:20who claims he was struck by bullet fragments during the incident. Now Relly testified from

00:25the fallout from their friendship stating quote we were really cool but the tension started to

00:28build when Rocky became big headed. In addition new surveillance footage revealed loud pops which

00:34the prosecution argues indicate the shooting although the gun was never recovered. Relly

00:38stated quote Rocky turned around and shot at me it all looked like a movie. Relly later retrieved

00:43shell casings from the scene but didn't report the incident to police for two days seeking a lawyer

00:47first. Rocky was arrested in April 2022 after returning from a trip to Barbados with Rihanna.

00:53He was released on a $550,000 bond. Relly is suing Rocky for $25,000 claiming severe

00:59emotional distress. The legal battle continues as both sides prepare for January's trial.
