00:00Do you think that the Steelers would draft Dart or are they going to draft a corner or

00:04something else?

00:05Like, obviously they have, you know, they don't have any quarterbacks, their future

00:11is screwed.

00:12They got to make a move.

00:13They already gave up on picking and now the guy has a ring.

00:17Yeah.

00:18And Scott, a couple of things here.

00:19So you're right at corner.

00:20They do need a corner opposite Joey Porter Jr.

00:22But when you look at that situation and you talk to the Steelers, they will tell you they

00:26are in dire need of wide receivers.

00:29They got one starter and that's it in George Pickens.

00:32So Roman Wilson, who they were very high on coming out of the draft, he got, he had two

00:36different injuries.

00:38He wasn't ready to play, although I'm told he was over both the hamstring and high ankle

00:42sprain late in the season, but they chose not to play him.

00:46Receiver right now is the number one need of that football team.

00:49Then corner, there's no question about it.

00:51But I could tell you from talking to the Steelers, they're feeling pretty good about their offensive

00:54line.

00:55They're going to get a couple of injured guys back.

00:56They think they're going to be fine there.

00:57It's receiver and it's corner and quarterback.

01:00I would agree with your assessment on the quarterback.

01:03How in God's name can this kid Wilson, who's all but 23 years old, not be better already?

01:11I mean, how long does it, I have never heard of a guy with an ankle sprain, what's it going

01:16to last?

01:17Two years?

01:18No, he's good to go.

01:19No, he was actually good to go late in the season.

01:20Why can't he be the new receiver?

01:22He was a stud at Michigan.

01:24He was, but right now he's got to prove it.

01:28Scott, he wound up never contributing.

01:30And that's the problem.

01:31They don't know what's going to happen to the player.

01:33I know.

01:34But Mike Tomlin, man, he gets down on rookies.

01:36He doesn't give much of a chance if they're down and out with an injury, you don't get

01:39much of a chance.

01:40But he's good.

01:41It's going to be this.

01:42It's going to be about the offseason with Roman Wilson, but they still need pretty significant

01:46help with the receiver position.

01:47For them to be a solid playoff contender, it's receiver, it's cornerback and quarterback.

01:54They've got a ways to go here.

01:56So let me ask you, the number one that I'm hearing every day is Cam Ward, that he's going

02:03to be the number one quarterback taken and not Sanders.

02:06Meanwhile, Sanders had way better numbers, frankly, even just even completions.

02:12It was like 73 to 67 in terms of completions.

02:16Is it really that glaring that Cam Ward's the number one pick is like, look, I like

02:22Cam Ward and everything, but let's calm down.

02:24He lost to Georgia Tech.

02:27He got his ass beat by Syracuse.

02:28He got his ass beat by Iowa State in the in the bogey, which he played like two series.

02:34I don't know what to think of him as a number one overall pick.

02:38You got to be kidding me.

02:40Honestly, if you're just grading by the best player in this draft, it's Travis Hunter.

02:48If you're if you're a team that needs a quarterback, I told you guys this weeks ago in SportsGrid,

02:51particularly in the Pro Football Today show, we were talking about the quarterback group.

02:55Cam Ward is the most talented quarterback for this draft.

02:57It's you got to get through the interceptions, the incompletions.

03:02He's a super aggressive thrower.

03:05You got to figure out why he misses certain throws, but he's super.

03:08He is really gifted.

03:10He is the top quarterback for this draft.

03:11I don't think it's particularly close.

03:13Sanders is second.

03:15Jackson Dart's a guy who a lot of people in the league are high on.

03:18I saw him at the Senior Bowl during the week during practice.

03:21He certainly opened some highs, but there's a distance between those two and Dart and

03:26others.

03:27There's no question about that.
