00:00So my name is TNT Lister. I'm from the United States. I live in California and I'm here

00:24with the Harlem Globetrotters and the USA Pavilion here at the Expo. We are so excited

00:28to be here. We've been looking forward to this trip for some time now. So the fact that

00:34we're here now, it's super exciting. We're excited to put on a great show for the people

00:40and we hope everyone has a great time. When the Harlem Globetrotters first began, it was

00:46more of a traditional basketball team. And then over time, they started to develop more

00:50of an entertainment aspect. And it's a very unique balance between both sport and entertainment.

00:57As people see when they come to the game, we make sure everyone has a good time, but

01:01it's still pretty competitive. Yeah, so we practice a lot. Usually in the U.S., we have

01:08nearly 200 shows. So before every show, we practice for at least two hours, two and a

01:13half hours. So yeah, it takes a lot of preparation, a lot of teamwork. So yeah, a lot of practice

01:23goes into each show. This year, we have our Spread Game. And Spread Game really means

01:30it's spread joy through the game of basketball. And that's what the Globetrotters have always

01:35been about. So the fact that we get to come over to Dubai and just spread joy, spread

01:40laugh, spread love. And we're really about uniting people. So that's what our Spread

01:47Game tour is about. So we're excited to bring it here to Dubai. Yeah, so this is a first

01:52for us. And all the guys, we're all super excited just walking around here to get to

01:59you to do this cool interview. We saw so many cool things. So we're excited to get going.

02:04Yeah, we have a ton of super cool world records that the Harlem Globetrotters have done. We've

02:10done full court shots. We have another woman on the team, and she broke a record where

02:17like she does this really cool roll dribble on the ground. And every year we try to come

02:24up with something new and innovative. So we have a world record session coming up. So

02:29we have some cool things in store for that too. So people should look out for it. For

02:33me personally, I'm looking forward to performing. And to be more specific performing for the

02:39women and the young girls, because I'm the only female here today with the team. And

02:45it's really important to me to show other women and young girls that we can be anything

02:50that we want to be, you know, you know, dream big, follow your dreams, follow your goals.

02:55And for me to be able to actually show them that by being on the team, it's really important

03:00to me. So I'm looking forward to doing that. So I'm hearing about the Dubai fitness challenge

03:04here. And I think that is so important. And it's such a great message for the Harlem Globetrotters.

03:09We actually go around to several schools in the United States and talk to the kids about

03:13being fit at least for an hour every day. And I know that the weather is getting, you

03:18know, really nice here and people are going to be getting back outside. So it's really

03:22important to encourage, especially the youth to get out there and, you know, have some

03:27play time, you know, find something you like to do, whether it's bicycling, hiking, go

03:33for a walk. You know, those things are really important for our longevity just as human

03:37beings. So that's something that's really important to the Harlem Globetrotters. And

03:41we're really excited that Dubai is doing that and taking that initiative.
