00:36Thanks Matt. Hi Satish. Hello to both the fans from RR as well as Chennai. Yes, contrasting

00:42games. We'll first talk about probably the morning game. Why I want to talk is it was

00:48between arch rivals Delhi and Mumbai. And what actually made me happy today was the

00:52innings of Shreyas Iyer. You know, this is an innings which was played on a difficult

00:56track. And it proved that this boy has got the temperament. And I sincerely hope that

01:02India makes that switch from Shreyas Iyer. They take him in. And I'm afraid have to leave

01:08out Ishan Kishan. And the evening game, to be very honest, after Chennai had put up 190,

01:14nobody expected RR to just roam through Chennai. Probably you would say, I do not want to take

01:21any credit away from RR. But Chennai were much relaxed. But having said that, the likes

01:26of the Dubes and the Sanju Samsons, everybody played so well. Even Jaiswal. So it's a wake-up

01:34call for Chennai.

01:35Yeah, I was just going to say that. I mean, obviously, we've got a couple of Chennai fans

01:40here today. Satish, you were watching the match firsthand. And it must have been a bit

01:49of a hurt for you. Because you've been backing these boys all the way. What's it like to

01:56get that, shall we call it, bring you down a peg or two result?

02:02I think every team is bound to have an off-day. I think it's good that Chennai had that off-day

02:07early. Because right now, they have already secured their play-off spot. And they can

02:12afford to have a couple of slip-ups. And it can also mean that they can fine-tune their

02:16game as they go by. I don't see too much of an issue with Chennai. Yes, of course,

02:24the catching was not… It was a different Chennai team altogether. A couple of things

02:30that could, I would say, could worry Chennai is, one is the fielding today. Because some

02:36of the catches could have been taken. And the second one, and the most important, is

02:41the form of Raina. He came in in his favourite number three spot. But he couldn't get that

02:47run, which would have helped him in the play-offs, where he will play a very important role.

02:53He's a top-ranked catcher for Chennai. That's fine. But still, a fit or an in-form Raina

03:00would make a big difference to Chennai than Raina, who was still not among runs.

03:05Okay. And Dr Rohmit, obviously, let's never say die. Attitude is an amazing thing that

03:12Rajasthan have. They're always trying to leave it to the last minute. How do you feel

03:17after today's result?

03:20The result, obviously, it's a love-all. But I think so. This time, Sandro Samson played

03:27intelligent. And I'll tell you why. Before the start of the match, he was pretty much

03:31aware that if I win the toss, then I'm going to chase it. Why? Because you have the two

03:35best of the best slow-ballers with Chennai, they have kept them out. So it was easy for

03:40him to make a decision to chase. And that's what he did, actually.

03:44The second most important thing was that there wasn't any change in the attitude and intent

03:49of Yashasree. He was going the same way, in the same form. And so was Lewis. Because they

03:55had nothing to lose today. If we lose it, we lose it against one of the best teams on

03:59the top of the table. And if we win it, then it has to be historical. So it was a very

04:04simple mathematics and calculated risk. Sanju played really good from overs 11 to 15, because

04:11he was able to control himself. The only shot he played and he got caught. So definitely

04:15he was in a bad state if he had gone in earlier. What a comeback by Shivam Dubey. Unexpected

04:22on that pitch. I used to always say that, you know, Shivam is a good player on pace

04:26and medium paces. But today, I have to take it back. Today, he was well-calculated against

04:31the spin. And going from the first ball itself, showed an amazing comeback for him. So hats-off

04:37to the way they approached. And it is one of the best chase in the recent times in IPL Part 2.

04:42One of the best chase. And CSK must be shocked. They are shocked. I mean, you can see that.

04:49Okay, they understand.

04:53You won't get a chance to speak again.

04:56Yeah. And obviously, Amrit, yeah, tough one to take, I think, for you. I think that

05:09you thought you were going to cruise this one today. And then that's you secured at least one

05:12of the 1-2 spots. Let me put it like that. Obviously, there is a disappointment because,

05:18you know, after you score 190, one of your players hits a century, his first. And you're like,

05:23this match is done and dusted. But then when Jaiswal started batting, you know, when you started,

05:29I tweeted saying that it's a freak batting display. And Dr. came back immediately saying,

05:33hold on, boy, it's much more than that. And that's what it was, you know,

05:37fabulous batting by Jaiswal, some amazing stuff by Dubey. And when you lose like this, you know,

05:43beyond a point, you're just enjoying the match. And you're like, it's fine. See, for us, we are

05:47still on the number one spot. Unlikely that we'll be dethroned from there. So we are number one.

05:53What happens now is, imagine the state of Mumbai Indian fans. They are on number seven.

05:58Where we were this time around last season. So number seven for them. They must be going crazy

06:04right now. Of course, we can, they can qualify. But it's a long, long shot. You know, that's the

06:10fun about IPL. Few matches to go and seven teams can qualify. That's the best part of it.

06:16I was most scared of Arjun. Today I'm saved by the bell.

06:25I was just going to go back to Anas there and just say, obviously, there's a few teams that

06:29it's in their own hands and some teams that now they're dependent upon other results now,

06:34because we're getting right down to the business end. And we get double headers coming up and

06:39things as well. So it's going to be really thick and fast, Anas.

06:44Oh, yes. See, the advantage, which is in RCB's flavor, that they have played one match less

06:50compared to the other teams. So they have three games. In three games, if they win two, they can

06:55also come in the top two. But if they win one, I think they will be secured. Because why I'm saying

07:01this, even if they are 16, they will still make it to the playoffs because there is a clash between

07:07KKR and RR. So one team has to lose. All right. As well as there is a clash between RR and Mumbai

07:14Indians. So RCB, I'm quite sure that they will make it to the playoffs, whether they will be 16

07:19or 18, only time will decide. But the CSK, Mumbai and KKR, two teams will get knocked off here.

07:28And why I'm saying this, because they play against each other. Only one can win. Both can't win,

07:33obviously. So you're saying that Chennai and DC are pretty much through then?

07:39100%. I don't see them. They have to take the top two. Unless RCB goes on to win all three,

07:47then you might see that net run rate. But the net run rate of RCB is quite poor at the moment.

07:52But you never know what is going to happen. But the fourth position, what I want to talk about,

07:56we have Punjab, we have RR, we have Mumbai Indians, and we have KKR. So if somebody has to

08:04pick, you know, you got to really be an Einstein. I don't want to be an Einstein. So I'll just

08:11blindly say that I will back Punjab because of my bonding with Punjab. Let's see who qualifies.

08:18And they had a great result last night as well. Satish, Romit and Amarpreet,

08:28anything else you want to add?

08:30Yeah, I would like to… Two things I would like to say here.

08:34All challengers have to win at least one game. And only then they'll be sure. Otherwise,

08:38there could be another lag, John, for the third and fourth spots. Because all teams can come into

08:4614 points and there could be four teams at least and then the net run rate could play a role. So it

08:51is important that Bangalore wins at least one game in the next three games so that only they are

08:57secure that way. And I would be, you know, failing in my duty if I don't talk about the wonderful

09:02knocks of Jaiswal and Dubey. A brilliant, brilliant attack. I think Jaiswal had a very bold

09:08approach after he was dropped. So due credit to them. Yeah, there was a dew on the wicket. So

09:14it was not an easy wicket to bat on. But they took their chances,

09:18of course, aided by a bad bowling. But still, hats off. And the way these youngsters have played,

09:23I'm very happy that the Indian pool of talent is getting bigger and bigger.

09:31I'll admit that I didn't even know how to pronounce Dubey's name today

09:35until you guys were talking about it. Because I'd never heard of him. But okay, Romit and Amarpreet?

09:41Yeah. See, team number on 3, 4, 5 and 6. Definitely, I've appointed the best of the

09:47best mathematicians to give them the calculation today. I'm sure about it. But I would go that

09:53RCB has a very, very bright chance. RCB has a very bright chance when you look into the table.

09:58Because they just have to win one more game, like Satish said. On the other hand, you know,

10:03Mumbai Indians, I doubt. But then I do feel that if Royals win both the next two matches,

10:08then have a pretty good decent because their run rate will definitely improve.

10:12So they don't, any one of them does not have a view, you know, a vast difference on run rate.

10:16It's just a few hours up and down. So it's a very, very mathematical calculation

10:20they have to follow. And the chase or win, they have to keep in mind, it's not about winning the

10:25game. It's about winning the run rate. So you win the run rate, you win the game anyway. So

10:30that's what the idea is behind it. So two things from my side. First,

10:34I think Rituraj Bhaikwad should probably be on standby for the T20 World Cup. You know,

10:40he's not shown a spark of one or two innings. He's been consistent. And he's been consistent

10:44since he joined this team from last season itself. So in the 14-odd matches that he's played,

10:49he scored in every match, right? So he should be on standby for the T20 World Cup. And you know,

10:54doctor may not like my views on it. But in my opinion, don't underestimate Mumbai Indians.

11:00They might just change the game. It's a long shot. But again, teams like that,

11:05those know how to bounce back. So you never know how the next two matches are going to go.

11:12I would like to go against it, because I don't know whether doctor will be... I'll take your

11:17side, doctor. I don't think Mumbai is doing that great this year, because even today,

11:22the batting was not up to the mark. Yes, Suryakumar Yadav got a run. But the confidence

11:28is not coming from them right now. The Mumbai Indians failed this time. The fans failed them,

11:32you know, by overestimating. Like, you talk Mumbai Indians, it's like the messiah. In cricket,

11:39there's no one messiah. I have played myself. I've never, you know, like, flamboyantly said

11:43that Mumbai Indians is the best. You know, it's the richest franchise. They have won so many

11:47matches. No, it's a game of cricket. You cannot... I feel like a referee blowing final whistle here.
