00:00Former MCA Lee Wah Beng said that the Chinese should not bow to the DAP's tactics that cause fear of PAS.

00:11Speaking in an audio broadcast episode, former Minister of Law Zaid Ibrahim, Lee said that PAS is portrayed as an unfair puppet in the Chinese society.

00:22In fact, he considered it more strategic to form a bond with the party, given the current political landscape.

00:29Former Subang Jaya adun and head of the Kelang Port Authority said that as a minority, the Chinese will not enjoy a good life as long as they fear PAS.

00:41Lee said that MCA had worked with PAS previously, but not openly because it was an obstacle for most parties based in China, including DAP.

00:52Zaid then stated that it was an obstacle due to DAP's propaganda and rejected the view that PAS wanted to Islamize the country.

01:01According to Zaid, PAS may not be so liberal or open, but it happened only because they wanted to protect the Muslim community, rather than being interested in Islamizing non-Muslims.
