00:00First in Dubai, we're here with our family from Denmark and London.

00:04We've come to Dubai because we've heard that the light show is incredible and

00:09the New Year's fireworks look great, and the food and the people.

00:13Our families all come here from all around the world.

00:16And this is like our central meeting point in between China, Asia, Europe.

00:21And in terms of what we're hoping for the New Year,

00:24I guess I'm just hoping to have a healthy New Year and go on loads of adventures.

00:28Yeah, I'm just living my life and really making the most of it.

00:33Hi, my name is Birte Eriksen.

00:36I live in China with my husband Henrik.

00:39And we are here to celebrate the New Year's Eve together with our kids and

00:45two of their friends, girlfriends.

00:48We live in China and it's the fourth year now we celebrate

00:54New Year in different capital cities.

00:57So we have been in Ho Chi Minh, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and now Dubai

01:03because we want to see the Burj Khalif fireworks, which should be amazing.

01:08And I think for me, my hopes and dreams are to be healthy and

01:13still to travel as much as we can.

01:16I hope we will stay peaceful and

01:19that we will take care of the Earth because we only have one Mother Earth.

01:24And our children and their children need a place, a good place to live.

01:28Hey everyone, we are here in Dubai for the New Year.

01:32We just came here to see the fireworks.

01:34We heard it's the best fireworks in the world.

01:37And we don't believe in new resolutions, but happy New Year.

01:44From the beginning, opening this Burj Khalifa and this fountain,

01:50we used to come, we used to visit this place very often.

01:53And he's very much interested in viewing this fountain.

01:57So we have never seen this directly, only in the TV we have seen.

02:04So we wanted to see, we thought, we made it today.

02:08Also today, it was not possible for us to see, to come inside.

02:13But somehow, security and officials, they helped us to come inside and see this place.

02:20So this is the most happening place in Dubai.

02:24So we love to watch this lively.

02:27This is the center of now, where else would we be?

02:30The family and I, we are actually very, very excited to be here for the New Year's Eve.

02:34And we can't wait to see the fireworks for the Burj Khalifa

02:38because this year is going to be spectacular because of the Expo 2020 happening.

02:41So we are all very excited.

02:42We have also family visiting from India and especially coming for the New Year.

02:46So we are here, we are amazingly happy and we are just waiting for the New Year's to happen.
