00:00The Department of Energy announced that they successfully conducted the third green energy

00:05auction in the Philippines, where the offered capacity reached more than 7,500 megawatts,

00:11exceeding their installation target of 4,650 megawatts. This showed investors confidence

00:17to spend time and effort in the renewable energy sector of the Philippines. The auction aims to

00:21support the acceleration of the country's transition to renewable energy and ensure

00:26green energy security. Almost 14 projects were submitted focusing on non-fit eligible

00:32renewable energy technologies and will be implemented from 2027 to 2035. Moreover,

00:39the winning bids will be announced once the Energy Regulatory Commission has completed their analysis.
