00:18the yearly Bayanihan Festival.
00:20Bayanihan Festival 2018 was one of the two main events of the Filipino community and
00:25the Philippine Consulate General that aims to promote unity and camaraderie among the
00:30community.
00:34The term Bayanihan refers to a Filipino tradition that depicts collective, cooperative heroism
00:38for a common cause.
00:40One of the highlights of the day was the parade of fiestas, which showcased different original
00:45costumes from the Philippines and the traditional folk songs and dances made the atmosphere
00:49vibrant.
00:54Filipino celebrities Su Ramirez and Ronnie Alonte also entertained the crowd with their
00:58song numbers.
01:13The whole-day community festival, which was a celebration of the spirit of cooperation
01:16and unity among Filipinos, was jam-packed with fun activities all in one venue, from
01:21a free concert to host of talent showdowns to shopping bazaars.
