00:10Arif Naqvi, founder of the beleaguered private equity firm Abraj, is facing a fresh charge

00:16of bounced cheques.

00:17According to lawyers close to the case, Sharjah-based Crescent Group founder Hamid Jaffer has submitted

00:24cheques worth $217 million, issued by Naqvi, to a court.

00:30The new case comes after a similar one relating to a cheque bounce of $300 million was settled

00:37out of court on July 15.

00:40A dust-laden grey pall that has blanketed much of the UAE is dissipating and should

00:46clear by the weekend, forecasters have said.

00:50The UAE Met Office said residents can take some comfort from the long-range forecast

00:55that there will be brighter skies.

00:57Air quality and visibility for motorists are also expected to improve ahead of the weekend.

01:04A U.S. judge has blocked the planned release of 3D-printed gun blueprints hours before

01:10they were set to hit the internet.

01:13District Judge Robert Lasnik in Seattle sided with states that sued to halt publication

01:19of designs to make weapons that security screening may not detect.

01:24He said the blueprints publication could cause irreparable harm to U.S. citizens.

01:31The Hoff has gotten hitched for the third time.

01:34David Hasselhoff, publicist, has confirmed the actor has married model Hayley Roberts.

01:40The small ceremony between the 66-year-old Baywatch star and 38-year-old Roberts took

01:47place in Italy with close friends and family.
