00:00KOMELEC will now issue a notice to the candidates who will receive illegal campaign materials.

00:09KOMELEC Chairman George Garcia said that this is for themselves,

00:13the ones who are stealing their materials that are against the Constitution.

00:18Garcia also told the following PDs,

00:2185 winning candidates will face punishment just like what happened to their candidates in the 2023 Barangay and SK Elections.

00:32The spirant and party-list organizations have 3 days, or the candidates,

00:37to remove their campaign materials that are not in accordance with the Constitution,

00:42if they will not do so.

00:44KOMELEC will issue a letter of disqualification due to election offense and may face up to 6 years in prison.

00:55KOMELEC will also not accept the reason that it is possible that the opposition to the Constitution used or produced such posters.

01:04Garcia also urged the public to report to them the illegal campaign posters through the social media accounts of KOMELEC.
