00:09U.S. President Donald Trump has replaced the acting director of the Immigration and Customs

00:14Enforcement hours after sacking acting Attorney General Sally Yates for refusing to defend

00:20his immigration ban in court.

00:22Trump appointed Thomas Homan as the new acting director of immigration, replacing Daniel

00:28Ragsdale, who had headed it since 2013.

00:31Yates was replaced by Dana Bent, the federal prosecutor for the Eastern District of Virginia.

00:38The UAE embassy in Washington has confirmed that Emiratis will not be affected by Trump's

00:43travel ban.

00:45In a series of tweets, Yusuf al-Ottaiba, ambassador of the UAE to the U.S., announced that the

00:50embassy has consulted with American officials and has been assured that the new immigration

00:55law will not affect UAE citizens.

00:59Yemen's al-Houthi militia attacked a Saudi warship off the western coast of Yemen on

01:03Monday, causing an explosion that killed two crew members and injured three others.

01:09Al-Houthis said they launched a ballistic missile at a Saudi-led coalition military

01:13base on the Red Sea island of Zukar between Yemen and Eritrea this morning.

01:18The fourth edition of Dubai Tour Cycling kicked off with the 181-kilometre Nakhil stage this

01:24morning, with defending champion Marcel Kittel leading the charge along with some of the

01:29biggest names of the sport.

01:32Team Abu Dhabi, a new team launched late last year which features UAE cyclist Yusuf Mirza,
