00:00A blueprint for a political transition in Syria is due to be presented by an opposition

00:13group in London today.

00:15The High Negotiations Committee, the main Syrian opposition group at stalled UN-mediated

00:20peace talks, will propose a gradual transition, starting with six months of negotiations accompanied

00:27by a total ceasefire and full humanitarian access.

00:31The plan then foresees the setting up of a transitional administration made up of opposition

00:36and government figures which would run Syria for 18 months, during which time al-Assad

00:42would depart, followed by elections.

00:45The threat of a terror attack in Australia is real, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said

00:51after Daesh urged followers to target Sydney's Beachside Bondi and the Melbourne Cricket

00:56Ground.

00:57Turnbull said it was a disturbing reminder of the security situation and that Australia

01:03has a threat level of probable.

01:07A major opinion poll of thousands of voters in all the 50 American states showed Democratic

01:13presidential candidate Hillary Clinton with leads in key states enough to claim victory

01:19in the November 8th elections.

01:22The survey was carried out by the Washington Post, along with SurveyMonkey and its online

01:27polling resources.

01:29Clinton leads Trump by more than four points in 20 states, giving her a solid base of 244

01:36electoral college votes, just short of the 270 needed to win, the poll indicated.

01:43Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial in Pennsylvania has been scheduled for June next year.

01:49If prosecutors have their way, more than a dozen accusers will take the stand to detail

01:54what they claim is a decades-long pattern of attacks.

01:59During a hearing on Tuesday, Court of Common Pleas Judge Stephen O'Neill set Cosby's trial

02:04for June 5th, 2017.
