00:07Dubai has reached a medical milestone with the successful transplant of a kidney of a

00:11deceased donor to a 29-year-old woman.

00:15Dubai Healthcare City Authority said on Wednesday this was the first cadaver transplant in the

00:20Emirate.

00:21The surgery was carried out on June 8, with the kidney being flown from Riyadh to Dubai

00:25by a medical evacuation team.

00:28Companies in the UAE that record annual revenues over 3.75 million dirhams will be obliged

00:33to register under a value-added tax system and will be taxed accordingly.

00:38Yunus Al Khoury, Under-Secretary at the UAE Ministry of Finance, said it will eventually

00:43become obligatory for all companies to register under the VAT system.
