00:00The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority recently hosted the 6th edition of SICA Art Fair at

00:13Bastakiya in Bur Dubai's Al-Fahidi district.

00:15Held from March 13 to 24, the Arts Fair covered a range of art disciplines including visual

00:21arts, animation, design, new media, literature, poetry, music, and performing arts.

00:27Providing deep insights into the creative flourish of culture and arts in the UAE and

00:31the GCC, SICA 2016 also aimed to identify aspiring and emerging talents from the region.

00:37When I participate in SICA I aim to maybe show my artwork, maybe not all the people

00:43know it.

00:44I participate in many exhibitions but maybe SICA more attractive for people, everybody

00:49can come.

00:50So it's a very nice idea.

00:51At SICA Art Fair there are many outlets like glass, then they have 3D doodlers and portraits

00:59and everything.

01:00They have got so many activities.

01:02This year SICA opened its doors to visual and performing arts, film and music.

01:07The Arts Fair is part of the two-month Dubai Arts Season, the umbrella arts initiative

01:12by Dubai Culture that includes visual arts projects, music, live performances, video

01:17art and workshops.
