00:00A new year is a new chapter. I am formally announcing my retirement from

00:05competitive judo. It's been a tough decision but it's the right decision.

00:11I've had an amazing time doing a sport that I love, the sport of judo. Judo has

00:17saved me, it's given me purpose and it's given me the life I've always wanted and

00:25I always will be grateful to this sport. Thank you to everyone in the judo

00:30community and family for supporting me on this journey. To my family and friends

00:35who've been on a journey from the beginning, a huge thank you to you guys.

00:39Without you it would have been a hard journey. This sport is a brutal sport.

00:46I've made so many friends, teammates along the way and it is some of the best

00:52memories I have with those guys I'll always cherish. How much do you want a
