00:12Four men have been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Alwarqa that led

00:16to the death of a man on Monday. Major General Commiss Matar Al-Mazaina, Dubai Police Chief,

00:21confirmed that an Emirati was killed and three others injured in a fight involving knives

00:26and swords. The injured were rushed to Rashid Hospital.

00:30Israelis are voting today in the regime's legislative elections, expected to be a close-fought

00:34battle between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Zionist Union leader Isaac Herzog. Around

00:40six million voters are eligible to take part in the election for the 120 members of parliament.

00:47Relief workers who struggled for days to access remote areas of Vanuatu, ravaged by a fierce

00:52cyclone, finally reached some of the islands today. The visit came as officials reported

00:57scenes of widespread destruction and communications remained incredibly patchy three days after

01:02the monster storm.

01:05Pakistan hanged 12 male convicts today, the largest number of people executed on the same

01:09day since a moratorium on capital punishment was lifted in December. Twenty-seven people

01:16have been hanged since then, most of them militants.

01:19Sharjah-based Air Arabia has announced the launch of its loyalty program, Air Rewards.

01:24This marks the first low-cost carrier rewards program in the Middle East and North Africa

01:29and will reward passengers with points based on money spent rather than the distance flown.

01:35Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Irfan was ruled out of the remainder of the Cricket World

01:39Cup today due to a hip injury. The injury is a major blow to the 1992 champions' chances
