00:00Well I've got my kit on and my gloves in hand.

00:26That door's just opened and this massive wave of cold has come in, so I think we're ready

00:30to go inside and test this out.

00:39I'm surrounded by snow and the temperature here is minus zero, there's only one place

00:43in the UAE I can be, Ski Dubai at Mall of the Emirates.

00:46Now what we're doing here, we're here to try out the all new Snow Bullets, that's the latest

00:51offering from this place, a zipline which flies from one side to the other, 16 metres

00:56high and 150 metres long.

00:58It's fair to say we're excited to see just how quick we can go.

01:11The Snow Bullet actually starts up there and this is where it finishes, which means it's

01:15150 metres higher than I thought it was.

01:17I'll be honest, I've been pleasantly surprised by just what it's like in here, the atmosphere

01:21is nice, the temperature is very, very nice, it's something you just don't get anywhere

01:24else in the UAE.

01:25Let's go and try this out.

01:39So that took a few minutes, so we're ready to go up now and get strapped on, ready to

01:43try out the Snow Bullet, what we came here for.

01:55I must be honest, I'm not the best with heights and I always feel a bit anxious when I'm doing

02:14things like this, but I'm here to give it a try, so fingers crossed.

02:25We've got 7 seconds, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, go.

02:40It's always worse when they give you a countdown, I can leave my hands like this.

02:48It's incredibly cold, but to be honest the speed is a tad disappointing, I expected it

02:59to be faster, it actually gains speed here.

03:01But then it lands on the brakes like that, it would have been great if it was just a

03:06tiny bit longer, just to get a bit more speed and just to get a bit more adrenaline going.

03:12It's a bit slow coming down from the top, it starts to pick up speed, becomes a lot

03:17more fun, and then it hits the automatic braking system, so that would definitely be one recommendation.

03:22So, we came down here today to try out the Snow Bullet, which I have done on two occasions.

03:27First things first, Ski Dubai itself, it's really surprised me, it's a lot more realistic

03:31and a lot colder than I thought it would be, my ears are absolutely freezing.

03:34As for the Snow Bullet itself, well, it's a lot higher than I thought it was, as I said

03:38earlier, and a lot longer.

03:40Unfortunately, the one downside I found was that the speed just wasn't quick enough.

03:44The last 20-30 metres, that's when it really starts to pick up some pace, but then all

03:49too soon it hits this automatic braking system, which is just above my right shoulder.

03:53I think, to be fair though, understandably, that's not too bad, given that we're in the

03:57middle of a shopping centre in the middle of Dubai, so it's easy to forget that when

04:01you're here in Ski Dubai.

04:02But all in all, it's been a fun day out here at Ski Dubai, but it's time to get out of

04:05here, because as I mentioned, I'm absolutely freezing.
