00:04consumers to buy plastic drinking straws.
00:07The move pushes back efforts by former President Joe Biden to phase out single-use plastics.
00:13The executive order is part of Trump's wider campaign to undermine environmental commitments,
00:17including one of his first actions, which was to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Climate
00:21Agreement.
00:22Meantime, Trump says Hamas should release all hostages by midday Saturday, February
00:2615, or he will propose the cancellation of the Israel-Hamas ceasefire and, quote,
00:31let hell break out.
00:33He expresses frustration with the condition of the recently freed hostages and the group's
00:36decision to halt further releases.
00:39Trump also says he could reach an agreement with Jordan and Egypt to host the displaced
00:43Palestinians, noting that the U.S. provides both countries with, quote,
00:46billions and billions of dollars a year.
00:49He says he might withhold aid to Jordan and Egypt if they don't accept Palestinian refugees
00:53displaced from Gaza.
