00:00Filipinos from across the region came together to showcase their abilities at the 2013 Talintadong

00:15Pinoy Talent Search show held in Dubai.

00:18Spectators were treated to a variety of performers, from daring fire jugglers and magicians, to

00:23soulful singers all taking their chance to impress the judges.

00:27The panel made up of well-known Filipino celebrities were on the lookout for someone with a special

00:32star quality to represent the Middle East in the Grand Finals.

00:57We're not really just singers, just dancers, you need talent.

01:02Actually we're called the talent scouts and then there's a jury.

01:07We put together all the scores and then from there, you get the winner.

01:11I'm very technical when it comes to performance, especially when we talk about singing, dancing.

01:22I look like I'm nitpicking when I'm checking out the little details.

01:26It's very, very important to me and how it merges into the form and into the emotion.

01:32For me it's the whole package.

01:35It's the totality of the performance, it's the reaction of the audience, and of course

01:43my reaction as well.

01:44If I am moved, if I am entertained, then that is good for me.

01:48My criteria, I want to go at this just whoever moved me the most.

01:53In the end, it was the powerful vocal stylings of Haina Udin from Qatar that wooed the judges,

01:59allowing her to snap up the title of Grand Champion at Talintadon Pinoy Middle East.

02:03While there are some things going down, I'm coming up for good, yeah.

02:19Congratulations, you did a great job.

02:23For the Middle East, we were moved by Haina's performance.

02:27Actually, singers don't fare very well in Talintadon Pinoy competitions because it's

02:33so easy to get lost in the variety of talents.

02:36But I guess it was her performance, it was her total package that won her crown for Pinoy.

02:43I feel so blessed because I really did not expect that I would get this grand prize.

02:51Also, I'm just a wildcard.

02:54And there's a lot, actually all of them will do well.

03:00Haina will now move on to the Battle of the Champions in Manila, where she will compete

03:04for the world title in August.
