00:21of the Maximum Suggested Retail Price or MSRP for pork.

00:26In a press briefing in Malacanang, Agriculture Secretary Francisco Chulaurel Jr.

00:32questioned the current price of pork per kilo of pork at P380 to P480

00:38among the families.

00:39Now, its farm gate price is only playing at P240 to P250.

00:45The secret says that the price of meat is not acceptable

00:49if it exceeds P400.

00:52According to this, the entire value chain of pork is also at stake

00:57and if proven to have profit-earing, the DA will immediately establish the MSRP.

01:22The study is expected to be completed within two weeks or by the end of February

01:27and the DA will first consult all stakeholders in the pork industry

01:32from pork farmers to retailers.

01:35Meanwhile, in cooperation with the National Bureau of Investigation,

01:40the DA is also investigating the possible potential or potential

01:44MSRPs that resulted in extraordinary prices

01:49in the declaration of the Food Security Emergency on Rice.
