US President Trump confirms that he will give ‘great consideration’ to an Australian exemption in the United States steel and aluminium tariff.

00:21I just spoke to him, a very fine man, and he has a surplus.

00:25I mean, we have a surplus with Australia.

00:29One of the few and the reason is they buy a lot of airplanes.

00:32They are rather far away and they need lots of airplanes and we actually have a surplus.

00:37It's one of the only countries which we do and I told him that that's something that

00:42we will give great consideration to.
