00:20House Senior Deputy Majority Leader Sandro Marcos denied

00:25that Congressmen signed the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte in exchange for money or assistance.

00:35In an interview, the presidential son stated that it was just a smear campaign.

00:40He was the first to explain to Congressmen the articles of impeachment

00:45and that everyone is free if they want to participate or not.

00:50I think that's just part of the fake news of DDS.

00:54It's just part of their smear campaign.

00:56To discredit the movement, you can't blame them.

01:00We know who their leader is.

01:02But no, there was nothing offered in exchange for the signatures.

01:07I was there in the room.

01:08The articles of impeachment were really discussed.

01:11And then people were given the choice to sign or not.

01:14But whether there was any exchange, or any monetary offer,

01:18or any exchange, there was no such thing.

01:24At the same time, Congressman Marcos also signed an appeal to his father regarding impeachment.

01:30The president said that he just did his duty and obeyed his obligation to the Constitution.

01:37The congressman said that he shouldn't be surprised why he was the first to complain.

01:51if he says that he wants to kill the president and the first lady of my parents,

01:56and he wants to kill the speaker,

01:58why would a person be surprised when I sign there?

02:02These are statements that can't be taken lightly,

02:05especially from someone with such a high position.

02:09So, I wonder why people are surprised.
