00:00In the second quarter of 2025, the fuel subsidy for PUV drivers and operators is expected to be completed.

00:08According to Transportation Under Secretary Jesus Ferdinand Ortega.

00:13According to Ortega, not only PUV drivers will receive assistance,

00:18but also tricycle drivers and delivery riders to reduce the effect of the price increase of oil.

00:26The program is being implemented through a Memorandum of Agreement

00:31where the LTEFRB is the one who is responsible to the PUV drivers,

00:36DILG to the tricycle drivers, and DICT to the delivery service riders.

00:42More than a million beneficiaries are expected to receive fuel assistance.

00:48According to Usec Ortega, the rollout and verification of the account details will continue

00:53so that each beneficiary will be able to receive the right amount in the said deadline.
