00:15I think it's ridiculous. It's another day. I think it's just a money racket. A Hallmark

00:22day. That goes out the window when you have children. What's love got to do with it?

00:28Well I still call it St Valentine's Day for a start. And it's nice if you're young. But

00:35when you've been married over 50 years, it's neither here nor there.

00:40Well I got into trouble last year. Booked a table for two. Got there and my wife wasn't

00:45happy. She's rubbish at snooker.

00:49Me and Deacon showed our love on the other day, not just on Valentine's Day. I think

00:53it's just a big baloney.

00:56Just how much effort do we expect on Valentine's Day? And are you the romancer or the romancee?

01:02So we've been married 30 years. If I didn't buy my wife a card, she would be so upset.

01:09Although I've got away with it once. We played Arsenal a few years ago one night on Valentine's

01:13Day and I got away with going to the game.

01:15Some years, if he's behaved himself, I'd get a card. But on the whole, just happy Valentine's

01:23Day.

01:24I think if my husband walked in with a bunch of roses on Valentine's Day, I think he was

01:30having an affair.

01:31I would say more traditionalist than romantic. So I do believe on Valentine's Day that you

01:36make an effort. We do some little things like we'll leave a package of love hearts lying

01:41around for each other. And that's after 30 years of marriage.

01:45My husband will pay for me to go away on Valentine's Day and leave him in peace. He gets commission

01:51for taking me off his hands.
