00:00I feel like when you inculcate the right kind of habits in the beginning, they don't like

00:05stuff themselves up with like 10 ice creams.

00:08What is this woman not been showing me?

00:09Let's just eat together and, you know, shut kitchen.

00:12We all know that you have dinner very early.

00:15Is that something that you still do?

00:18Oh, yeah. Yeah.

00:19I think it just started out of convenience because my daughter ate dinner early.

00:23So she would eat her dinner by around 5.30 because she sleeps early.

00:28And I just thought most of the time it was just her and me at home.

00:31And I was like, you know, what am I going to do?

00:33I might as well just eat now.

00:35And I started to see the benefit that came out of it, which was I slept better.

00:41I felt fresher in the morning. There's brain fog.

00:46So yeah, I think that's one thing that I do. It works for me.

00:48I'm not just I didn't read it somewhere and, you know, start following it.

00:52Like I said came out of convenience. Let's just eat together and, you know, shut kitchen.

00:57And now it's now it's something that the entire family does.

01:00Ma'am, my question to you is how do you manage to feed your kids healthy foods?

01:06I mean, sometimes it happens.

01:07We always have see the difference with with their it's a balance with their habits and the convenience.

01:16Like with their habits and like sometimes when they really want to like eat ice cream or like these things.

01:21Yeah, this was a hard one, you know, because till your kid is two

01:24and if it's your first born it's kind of easier

01:27because they haven't been to that many birthday parties.

01:31They don't know that cakes exist and there's pizza in the world and you know, all of these things.

01:35So you're I mean, you know, you've created a nice little bubble for them.

01:39You're fooling them well and you're like, yeah, this is what it is.

01:43And then they start seeing that. Oh, wait a minute.

01:46What is this woman not been showing me? There's this and that.

01:50So I'm going through that with my daughter.

01:52And I think the only way I've kind of managed to and I'm still trying is that I do explain it to her.

02:00I do I tell her that, you know, there are some foods that give us like all foods give us energy

02:05so that you can play you can do this you can do that

02:08and some foods give it to us very quickly and then we have no energy left to do other things

02:12and other food give us energy in a way that, you know, we can keep playing.

02:16We can keep I mean, I make it sound more interesting than I'm telling you guys right now.

02:20But I feel like she doesn't buy it most of the time like she's like, whatever just give it.

02:29But I do fix days like I tell her,

02:31okay, you can have it over the weekend or you can have it when we go there

02:34and I make it a big deal when we're doing that.

02:36For example, I took her to an ice cream museum because she loves ice creams like loves obsessed.

02:42So I took her to the ice cream museum and I'm like, you know what eat as much as you want and she didn't eat that much.

02:48So I feel like when you inculcate the right kind of habits in the beginning,

02:52they don't like stuff themselves up with like 10 ice cream.

02:56She must have had like two maybe two and a quarter and then she was like, I'm done.

03:02So I just pick date days and give a very lengthy explanation,

03:09which I make I try to make it fun. I bring out my actress.
