00:16they discussed the current movement of the MMDA's Comprehensive Traffic Management Plan, or CTMP.
00:25It aims to improve the traffic flow and strengthen the coordination of MMDAs in LGUs and other traffic management organizations.
00:35Among the things they will fix are the 209 traffic bottlenecks, 42 major intersections, 64 road segments, and 7 problem areas.
00:47The plan also includes improving the traffic signal system, intersection upgrades, intelligent transportation system, and strengthening traffic enforcement.
00:59Last November, MMDA and other government agencies approved the so-called Five-Year Action Plan.
01:08According to the MMDA, more than 400,000 vehicles pass through EDSA daily, even though its capacity is only 300,000.
