00:00The PNP made it clear that the arrest of the Magsasaka Partylist nominee, Lejun de la Cruz, was not a coincidence.

00:27This video was taken during the PNP's arrest of a man with an outstanding warrant of arrest.

00:33In the video, the man was identified as the Magsasaka Partylist nominee, Lejun de la Cruz,

00:38who was charged with two counts of murder.

00:40At around 11 p.m. yesterday, the car of de la Cruz was shot.

00:45De la Cruz was not shot, but he was followed by the shooters.

00:51The police identified the shooter and he was taken to the Marquina Police Station for investigation.

00:58But the PNP insisted that their operation against de la Cruz was legitimate.

01:03There was also no assassination attempt against the man who was arrested.

01:05On the contrary, he was the one who was shot and he was the one who was injured.

01:10Our police officer who was injured was confined.

01:13He had a fractured pelvic because he was hit by the accused.

01:19According to PNP Spokesperson, Police Brigadier General Gene Fajardo,
