00:00So, we have Ajake, we've had him in studio, now we got him at the Grammys, man. How you feeling tonight?

00:05I feel good, Alhamdulillah.

00:07And I mean, new year, new look. You basically broke the internet when you debuted.

00:12Your hairstyle and your new tattoos. Tell us a bit about the inspo about changing your look as you enter a new year.

00:17Like, I think this is how I feel now, you know?

00:21Like, I love to feel comfortable with myself. I love to do the things that I feel like is good for me.

00:28You know, not even about anybody. This is how I feel now.

00:31I might wake up tomorrow and you guys might not see any tattoos on my face.

00:34Oh man, that's going to be a lot of work to do.

00:36But also, I heard you might have had help in designing your outfit tonight.

00:39Yes, yes. I'm wearing a custom design from PDF. It's my good friend.

00:45So, we designed this together because I'm in my military, you know, time.

00:49Okay.

00:50So, this is all. I'm wearing PDF, my shoes PDF, my jacket PDF, my t-shirt PDF, everything PDF.

00:56Shout out to Dom. That's my friend.

00:58And I mean, your first Grammy nomination. How special is it, not only to have your first Grammy nomination,

01:03but for a project that means so much to you?

01:06Yeah, like, I feel blessed. I think everything and everything that happens to me, I always give thanks to God

01:11because I know there are so many people that want it.

01:14But for me to be part of the ones that God choose, I feel blessed, you know?

01:18I feel happy and I'm honored. Thank you, Grammy.

01:22And how do you feel about the culture in general, everybody around you?

01:24Rema, Tyler, Tim, Shinsia, like, it's a beautiful moment.

01:27So, how does it feel to see all your peers here tonight as well?

01:29I love everybody. I'm happy to see everybody. It's all win.
