Idles caught up with Billboard's Tetris Kelly and Rania Aniftos on the 2025 GRAMMYs red carpet.

00:03I mean, it is such a special year this year,

00:05repurposed for giving back to the community in LA

00:08that we all know and love.

00:10In what ways, what's your favorite part of LA?

00:15That's a great question.

00:16What is my favorite part of LA?

00:18The people.

00:19Yeah, generally.

00:20I mean, we always get welcomed here

00:24and it kind of, it feels like a second home of sorts

00:26in America for us.

00:28So, you know, Kenneth, who's somewhere abouts Kenny Beats,

00:32who we work with, he lives here,

00:34and he's kind of shown us the city.

00:37We love it.

00:38Yeah, and of course you're nominated for Best Rock Album.

00:40So tell me, do you feel any rock vibes in this city

00:42and what's a good memory you have?

00:46I'm not so interested in the rock vibes.

00:48I'm interested in learning from the people of Los Angeles

00:54who are a mad bunch.

00:57It's a very volatile city that is terrifying and beautiful

01:03and I love it.

01:04Thanks for having us.

01:05But you gotta tell me this.

01:07How do you go from the Grammys to playing a show?

01:09You guys are doing a benefit for LFAD.

01:12Yeah.

01:13Yeah, we've been touring.

01:15LAFD, excuse me.

01:16Yeah, we've been touring for 15 years

01:19and it's in our muscle memory, that's it.

01:22We're very used to it.

01:23We also, you know, it's a gift.

01:26Touring the world with your friends

01:28and being able to do fundraisers

01:32and come here and have the conversation

01:34and all that, it's a gift, man.

01:35We're very grateful.

01:36And no matter how tired my feet are,

01:41my heart keeps beating.

01:43Very, very poetic.
