00:05particularly concerned about developments thousands of kilometers away in Gaza and in

00:11Do you think they're well enough informed?

00:13The U.S. public, I wouldn't say it is any more fickle than other publics.

00:20I would say the U.S. public is as prone to news headlines as any other public.

00:34And there was a certain point, in particular in the spring of last year, roughly a year

00:42ago now, when the student encampments seized, if it's not imagination, it seized the attention

00:55of the U.S. public.

00:58And at that point, public concern was pretty steady, even though for a short period of

01:07time, and it had an impact on the Biden administration.
