00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. once again denied that there is no blank item in the 2025 General Appropriations Act.

00:08In his speech at the 20th National Convention of Lawyers in Cebu City,

00:13President Marcos insisted that he went through a thorough review

00:17and analyzed more than 4,000 pages of the 2025 National Budget.

00:25Just last month, I had to read 4,057 pages of the General Appropriations Act for 2025.

00:38Because I reviewed it, analyzed it, and yes, in parts, vetoed it.

00:43And so, for those of you, and up to now, I cannot find those damned blank items.

00:51We'll keep looking, we'll keep looking.

00:53But I really am convinced that they simply do not exist because it is not allowed to exist.

00:59So for those of you who think the presidency is just handshakes, photo ops,

01:03I assure you, that fine print is alive in my office as well.
