00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has promised that the government and private sector will continue to help

00:07to lower the number of Filipinos who have no job.

00:17Even though the unemployment rate in the country continues to fall,

00:20despite the fact that many Filipinos are working,

00:23President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said that the government's efforts

00:27to improve the state of employment in the country will continue.

00:32The Ecotibo tree was also given to reduce the number of Filipinos who have no job.

00:37The government and private sector will continue to help

00:41to create more job opportunities for Filipinos.

00:47The unemployment rate in the country fell to 3.2% in November 2024.

00:53However, the President said that he will continue to do his administration of measures

00:59not only to increase the percentage of those who are looking for a job.

01:03The President also said that he needs to be able to meet the growing demand of the labor market.

01:07So, if we are talking about a skill set,

01:09he really needs to increase it through risk-killing,

01:15where the TESDA will help here.

01:18We are lowering the unemployment rate.

01:20The number of non-employed Filipinos is decreasing.

01:26However, we are not yet done with that.

01:29And following the good results of the job fairs that were held recently,

01:33President Marcos said that he wants to expand this activity.

01:39Every month, the President said, he will be able to hold this kind of activity

01:43that is not only the National Capital Region of Concentration.

01:46The Chief Executive also wants the job fairs to be held in different parts of the country

01:51or in the provinces.

01:52And for now, the job seekers in Manila don't need to go out to apply for jobs.

02:00Our plan is that we will hold this kind of activity every month

02:08so that they can go to Manila,

02:12and not only to Manila, but also to other places.

02:14So that they don't need to go to Manila, to NCR,

02:20and we will go to the job seekers in different provinces.
