Only 6% of respondents supported joining the US, while 9% remained undecided. Denmark’s government dismissed Trump’s interest, emphasizing Greenland’s autonomy under international law. The poll also found that 45% of Greenlanders see Trump’s interest as a threat, and only 8% would choose US citizenship over Danish if forced to decide.
