00:00The last reading of the PTV Manila Panookalang Pakikinabangan has already passed.

00:14In order to improve the quality of education in the country,

00:18the two important Panookalang Batas for the well-being of students have already been approved in the third and final reading of the House Bill No. 11214

00:29or Panookalang Private Basic Education Vouchers Assistance Act.

00:33Under this, the Expanded Government Assistance to Students and Teachers in Private Education Act or E-GASPE

00:42where not only the grade 7 to grade 12 private school students will be given aid vouchers,

00:49but also the others in the basic education levels from kindergarten.

00:54There are also provisions here regarding the needs of private school teachers.

00:59Aside from that, House Bill No. 11213 or Panookalang Education Pathways Act has also been approved.

01:07The target here is to amend the K-12 system so that the youth will have better job opportunities.

01:14Several other Panookalas were included in the third reading of the House Bill

01:18regarding bullying and misbehavior of some agencies.

01:23Aside from this, the other proposed measures have also been approved in the second reading.

01:28This is one of the House Bill No. 11357 that will be amended in the Universal Health Care Act.

01:35This is supported by the Department of Health, especially this one, in the priority bills of the administration.

01:42The DOH's gate, when this is finally passed into law,

01:46is expected to lower the premium contribution rate in PhilHealth

01:50and to better serve its beneficiaries.
