00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ordered the Department of Migrant Workers' Secretary, Hans Leo Kakdak,

00:06to ensure the livelihood and employment support of the 17 seafarers of the MV Galaxy Leader

00:11while they were waking up after being hostaged by the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

00:16This happened during Thanksgiving Mass after Secretary Kakdak reported to President Marcos.

00:22The President's directive is to help the Filipino seafarers wake up.

00:27Aside from the Thanksgiving Mass, they were also welcomed by the DMW along with their families.

00:33They also received financial aid, training certificates, and gift bags from the DMW, OA, and TESDA.

00:40The seafarers are very grateful to President Marcos for ensuring their safety and well-being.

00:46Kakdak also thanked Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo,

00:50and the DFA and Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista.
