Australia’s best country music talent honoured at 2025 Golden Guitar Awards

Singer Keith Urban has returned to Australia to receive one of country music’s highest honours. The emotional moment was one of many at the 53rd Golden Guitar awards in Tamworth.

00:32Some days are better than others, some days I miss my mother.

00:38Troy Cassidaly was another big winner, taking home five awards, including Album of the Year.

00:44The album, Between the Fires, was recorded at his late mother's house.

00:48He thanked his wife and children for their support.

00:51I didn't really include everyone in what was going on, but I didn't mean to push everyone

00:56Just that sometimes to heal, you have to take the journey on your own.
