01:07Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has raised fears of a potential veto from Hungary

01:12as the EU prepares to renew sanctions on Moscow in the coming week.

01:17Speaking on state radio, Orban said Ukraine's decision to stop the transit of Russian gas

01:22into Central Europe has forced Hungary to turn to other routes, raising energy prices.

01:29He wants the EU to intervene, claiming EU sanctions against Russia for its war in Ukraine

01:34had cost Hungary 19 billion euros.

01:37We ask them to tell the Ukrainians that they will stop the gas pipeline.

01:44Now that it's closed, let them open it again.

01:47This is not a question of Ukraine, it's a question of Europe and Central Europe.

02:18demanded an end to sanctions, raising the possibility that he would veto the newest

02:23round which would be decided by 31st of January.

02:32The Azerbaijan Airlines flight that crashed near Aktau in December was downed by an air

02:36defense system which was brought from Syria to Russia.

02:39That is according to Russian sources familiar with the investigation.

02:44Local media reported that Russian investigators have identified both the individual who launched

02:49the missile and the officer in charge who gave the order.

02:56Sources additionally reported that electronic warfare systems were deployed against the

03:00aircraft as it was on approach to land in the Russian city of Grozny, which led to severe

03:04malfunctions in its control systems before the crash.

03:10Government sources told Euronews that the damaged aircraft was not allowed to land at

03:13any Russian airport despite the pilot's request for an emergency landing, and it was ordered

03:18to fly across the Caspian Sea towards Aktau in Kazakhstan.

03:25Baku refuses to allow the case to be hushed up and remains adamant in its demand for Russia

03:30to take accountability.
