Loan moves for Ekdal and Delcroix are an opportunity for them to play

Scott Parker has revealed that he allowed Ekdal and Delcroix to leave on loan so that they can play football.

00:00Both players really, we're probably stocked pretty high in the back line,

00:06certainly centre-halves, and probably was a time, you know,

00:10both players coming off of injuries from last year and needed minutes.

00:14I wasn't in a position to really guarantee minutes,

00:17and I think it was best for both clubs and for them mainly

00:22to go and get some minutes and get some football.

00:25So, yeah, we'll keep an eye only on loan, these players,

00:28and I think we'll keep a close eye now,

00:31and hopefully they get the minutes they want now out on loan

00:34and get them back in pre-season.
