Scott Parker was pleased with how his Burnley side managed a potentially tricky tie against Swansea City following a hectic recent schedule.

00:03To be fair, I thought overall a real solid professional performance.

00:07Started the game really well,

00:10you know, in terms of our intensity,

00:13breaking out of certain areas and then executing with two goals.

00:18And I think it's fair to say,

00:19you know, we managed the game extremely well today.

00:22Real professional performance.

00:25Tired legs out there coming out of a real busy schedule.

00:27We just managed the game really.

00:29I just felt the game was constantly in our hand

00:32and it always helps,

00:34obviously, with the two goals to make it feel like that.

00:36Yeah, nice early goal, isn't it?

00:38Another one for Josh Brownhill.

00:39He's got that knack, hasn't he,

00:40being in the right place at the right time?

00:42I think we've said that a lot this season,

00:44to be honest with you.

00:45So, if the ball goes in an area,

00:47Josh Brownhill seems to have got unbelievable habits of just being in there,

00:52really.

00:52So, another goal for him.

00:53He's been a driving force,

00:55really,

00:56and he's been critical for what we've done this year.

00:59And his goals have been massive for that.

01:03I said you managed the game and you never really looked at it.

01:09we then, obviously,

01:11was pretty solid,

01:13managed the game,

01:14was professional.

01:15There was a couple of other chances,

01:16open chances,

01:18which maybe we could have done a little better on.

01:21But overall,

01:23very pleased with how we managed the game,

01:25really,

01:25because I've been in the arena many times

01:27and played back-to-back games,

01:29or games every two or three days,

01:31and I had a feeling this was going to be a real test for us today,

01:35physically,

01:36just for the pure volume of games we've played.

01:40But we managed that really well.
